eduroam - WLAN (WI-FI) @ IMC

eduroam (education roaming) is the secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community. Having started in Europe, eduroam has gained momentum throughout the research and education community and is now available in 74 territories. eduroam allows students, researchers and staff from participating institutions to obtain Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions by simply opening your laptop.

By using eduroam employees and students of the IMC UAS Krems can register at any partner organisation WI-FI with the IMC log-in details and without editing your settings.  Affiliates of our partner insitutions i.e. exchange students can use the WI-FI of  the IMC UAS Krems.

We suggest to connect to and test eduroam at your home university first (the institution where you have your user account). Should you experience any difficulties you still have your local internet access and you can get help from your institution. If you experience no difficulties at your home university eduroam usually works at all other locations too.
Organisations in Austria, Europe, Canada, USA, Asia and Australia participate in eduroam.
Check out other participating institutions bevor you start on your journey!
Notice: If you are using a device provisioned by a third party - for example your employer - it might be necessary to have this device set up for eduroam by them. In some cases this 802.1x certificate for this connection is needed to complete the setup:
